Tracing Time

Distance directs its path in my direction- in yours
                   unable to be removed from the remnants left behind
                             we stay on this journey

                                         Tracing Time

                           shall your wish be the same as mine?

                                       Gone is another year,
                              new moments are upon you and me

                          Still-

                                       We are tracing,
                               simply racing against time


             Distance directs its path in my direction- in yours
                     we move about, in the same location,
                                   through connection

                    Yet, are separated only through space
                           ________________________



~ Even the wind feels its touch ~
Thoughts from the heart

I think it would be amazing if we could make time stand still, but then moments wouldn't move and so many memories would never be made.
