These mismatched and misplaced moments make sense – especially now while distance draws a breath, making the picture completely cloudy, I somehow allow droplets on the window to trace my mood - - especially now - - _______________ Just a little Scribble

I always enjoy how you frame your poems, with indents and spaces, and your repeats and use of bold for emphasis. I liked the alliteration at the beginning. Mostly I appreciate that you write from the heart and capture a moment and emotion in words. Blessings ~ John

Thank you John, such a wonderful thing to say- about me and my poetry. Yes, always writing from the depth of my heart. Placing certain words or phrases in bold, helps create the mood. You and your thoughts are appreciated. Many blessings to you, in the New Year. ~ Brandy

There is something sensual about some melancholy moments. The ache gives the moment texture. I enjoyed your poem. Hugs Rick.

Good afternoon ma'am, hope all is well. I've enjoyed reading your newest works. I love watching droplets on windows, each has their own speed and line of travel, and can make one drift away in thought. This made me think of my own mood today, so I thought what it would be like to trace mine. It ended up looking like something on an etch a sketch, choppy, jagged and all screwed up :) Have a lovely weekend...TAH

Still, you are the only one here that calls me ma'am. Thank you for that. It means so much. Your comment made me smile and my thoughts linger, all at the same time. I am sure you wouldn't look like a scribbled up mess. On an etch a sketch. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thank you Tobey. :) Brandy

I don't think I will trace tree bark. There's a poem in there somewhere, I am sure. (Soft Giggle). Thank you my Warrior with Wings. Your thoughts bring a smile. :) Brandy

The droplets roll down the window pane like tears down her cheek from the pain in her heart... So tender and beautiful, Brandy, with a touch of longing and sadness. All the best my dear friend. Hugs, John

Tracing the mood, you certainly have. There is longing within, some sadness and pain. The heart is fragile, and should be handled with care. Always. Thank you John. I appreciate you and your thoughts. ~ Brandy

Lovely. I am unclear if you can stop the drops... as they sometimes get out of control. Excellent write. Ann

Dear Ann, the heart will always feel this emotion, that tender ache. It does get better in time. Even though it likes to return. The longing within. Thank you for your kind words. ~ Brandy

Misplaced moments can be quite intriguing, Brandy...until sun shines through those windows on life. You made me pause and think.
