Toy War

“Tommy go on out to play, Don't meddle with your books and toys. Go and get your plastic gun. and play war with all the other boys.” Here I am a general full. I'm Tommy and a hero see. Bang there's one through the heart. I die in glorious ecstasy. “Hey Eddie! I am dead.” I said As Eddie hit the ground. But Eddie was preoccupied. With what his knee had found. God what a gash, what a sight. You should have heard him moan. “Hey Tommy it's cut real bad. It's cut right to the bone.” “Guess what happened today mum. To little Eddie Moor. He didn't arf hurt himself. And we was only playing war.”

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
