Toy Soldiers

Toy soldiers march on,
Staring up ahead,
Not knowing from one second to the next,
If they will end up dead,
Family's at home trying to get by,
Fearing for that knock on the door,
Leaving behind everything,
What are they fighting for?
Is it for land? Is it for blood?
For drugs? Colors? Or race?
They fight a constant battle,
Not caring what's at stake,
These brave toy soldiers march on still,
Staring up ahead,
Life on the line, family in mind ,
Wishing the were home instead.
