Toy Shelf Town

Shh! The ballerina doll cautioned the blocks, the puzzles and the top.
She is sleeping, and she looks tired and bewildered, as if she could drop.
The toys had all been through some trauma or another, so they were quiet.
When the electronic dog began to bark, it nearly started a toy chest riot.

SHH! Whispered the toys, as they watched her tummy go up and down.
She was the first live cat they had ever seen join them in Toy Shelf Town.
We are determined to keep her she is giving us a different perspective they said.
The kitty slept on, with innocence, and the toys protected her sleep and her head.

Clever and imaginative, as usual, Caren. Reminded me of Toy Story.
