Toxic

I hope you treat her better than you treated me,
I'm so sorry that what we had can no longer be.
You're all I ever wanted,
In the beginning,
Yes it's true.
Now i'm not so sure about it.

You tell me all these lies,
I don't know what to believe anymore.
I've stayed up too late,
Thinking of what could've been,
And what couldn't be,
What we had was never meant to last,
Was it?

After all that's said and done,
I'm still just reminiscing over the past.
The holes in the wall,
And the words you said to me,
Those are things you can never take back.
But,
The future scares me,
More than you ever did.
