Town Children

Town Children
10/07/19

Though white as a snowflake
No darker than sand
Umbrellas on hot days
Not to catch a tan

Weird at first
Warm hearted inside
At youth they were nursed
Just like you and I

Were not so different
Towns children
Magnificent
Outside and in.
