TOUT EST VRAI (Everything Is True)

TOUT EST VRAI
(Everything Is True)

Headlights sweep
Across your face
The highway
Close
The motel's gate
So tired from the drtive
I lie
But sleep
Has passed me by
In haste
Inside a globe
This endless snow
Trapped inside
With me, I know
The ceiling climbs
The walls give way
You lay like snow
The lights retreat
If you could go
Would you leave
Be safe inside
From night's long reach
Yesterday
"Tout est vrai"
I shook the globe
Where snow just lay
Wth no escape
Unless it breaks
As winter rises in the east
