Touched Lives

I want lives to be touched By each word that I write Seeds of truth sown The blind given sight God’s love to shine forth To a world in great need For the love of their Creator Many still do not heed I want lives to be touched Hearts to be opened Faith to spring forth God’s love to be spoken For if only we knew How His heart aches When He’s rejected For earthy keepsakes I want lives to be touched That’s why I write These poems each day That some words may ignite Your desire to know Him Much more than before If you’ve never met your Saviour I beg you, ‘Open your door’ I want lives to be touched To be saved by our Saviour For only He has the power To change our behaviour As long as we’re willing To give Him a try His amazing love we’ll find On His love can rely.
