Touched By An Angel

As His Angels set out with their purpose in hand
To enter into this bout of this back sliding land
They were to intervene in acting upon God's Word
Though they were to never be seen or even heard

But along their way they went, embellished by God's Grace
For these Angels were sent for what could not be replaced
It was upon their way where devious spirits would linger
For they were sent to pray forming a protecting circle around her

And they would never leave or even ponder the thought
For God's Love does not deceive destroying all that evil has wrought
And as a new day begins and the Baby ominously kicks about
This Mother in considering her sin begins having some doubt

Maybe come tomorrow she will then have a change in her mind
Or maybe it will be sorrow in the end that this woman will find
But these Angels made mention that they could use your hand
For if this war is to ever be won we must all come to understand
