Touch

I want to not only touch your heart but to hold it against me. To open the eyes to a journey that is neither here nor there. I see a soft caress through the hair; A finger touched across the brow; A loving hand cupped at The cheek; A firm place of hands that hold to say Don't be scared. To only end with arms encircling. These are for not only hearing words; But tones; The rise and fall of each word as it is spoken. To close your eyes and listen case ach sound wave crosses time and brings you to where you now stand. Allow yourself to feel what each word speaks and feed whom you want to be. Wisely appoint your fingers to your lips to show yourself genuine, original and real. Whether it be a smile, a tsk tsk; Always place them gently no matter where they be. Upon an eye; Upon a cheek; Upon another's soul; Softly take what is given and return it that much more in a passionate way. Use your eyes to talk to someone and never say a word. Hold their eyes in yours and say; I love you; I care; I need you; Only in a second all the words not spoken are there. A change as quick as the beat of anheary will capture and engulf them with either; Love Hate or tears Let yourself take In the aromas by filling your lungs with breath. Ah The sweet lifting scents that seem to glide across your skin and carry the speeding of your heart. With each individual flood of smell that you seem to touch Let it have enthrallment of which you need to live. By Christy Teas
