Totasteit

Under the weight of time youth is beginning to succumb to the past
As the moments fly overhead into yesterday I can only sigh, I tried
What seems to be easier to forget, become the faint recollections of joy
All romance in life, every smile collected or soul touched, was the candy
I cannot say I did not live, most unbelievable to anyone who listens
Not to brag or with any arrogance, I was blessed, sin or no, will be debatable
As to the one sure truth of my life, had you known me, you were loved…always
And I was truly Happy……Make of Life what it is, short, sometimes painful
But so sweet, with every chance to fall or rise above it and live. That keeps me
Smiling, with still a long way to go and so much to Love.
