Torn, a Lovers Tango

he stands up and proudly proclaims his love for her. he bears his soul. she loves him back, but feels she's playing a role. he bends over backwards, anything he can do. just to make her happy. but he doesn't have a clue. she's in love with some one else. she can't help it, she fights and protests. she just can't get her heart under control. all this lust is taking it's toll. she wants the other more than anything. she dosen't want to leave the one who loves her so. she can't stay, but she can't go. her true love is going away. she can't just kill time with the one she's with. it wouldn't be fair to anyone that way. she fights and pleads, on her knees. Jesus help me. what do i do? follow your heart, it's the only thing you can listen to. she knows what she has to do. someone will get hurt no matter what. she hurts inside, every inch distraught. maybe she'll take the fall, and end up with no one at all.
