Tormented Tortured Heart

A broken heart The torture won’t quite end With the torment of trying to make another start Yet never knowing just how to A crushed soul For which was stomped upon So you come down on yourself Hope and faith are gone A scattered mind Thoughts not put in the right place Shattered is any sense of time Memories of what once was is now all your know, you can’t let go A tattered form of who you once were Is all that is now seen Can’t quite get yourself back Although you’re still cognitive and sharply keen Rebuild your crushed soul Revive your hope and faith Reinsure you scattered mind Replace the shattered pieces Untatter your person Bring the real you back For a whole new start Most of all baby Let go of your tormented, tortured heart
