Torches

fed up with the indecision
it seems to be the reason
for too many empty visions
of romance novels written

don't know why i believed in you
I can't quite think that far back now, dude
my brain's a sunken ship in juice
that i thought consuming would be more soothing
than reminding myself i'm dusting on a shelf
another girl you left who's love didn't depend on
whether you ran or not
why didn't i listen to him...
exactly how far in am in
about now?

and you post pictures
of your body on hers
and i can't help but wanna suffer
i can't help but wanna torture myself
oh god, oh no,
there I go again
oh ****, oh no
there i go again

if you've moved on like you said,
what are you worrying 'bout, then?
