Too Precious, Too Short

The dying know the time’ value all too well,
Know how precious a second is once it’s turned an hour.
The last words and self-forgiveness’s power,
Don't hold on to those who are meant to solely pass you by,
don’t call the lesson they were there to teach you a lie.
Don't wish harm upon anyone who couldn't stay,
be gracious, and send them with love on their way.
Life is too precious, too short to carry the agonizing hate.

You are right, Khadidja. Life is too short to be wasted like that. Love and forgiveness will make our life worthwhile. Regards // paul
