Too Late

the passage that leads to damnation is wide
a corridor of hatred and resentment shrouded in pride

each step that is taken takes a toll on the soul
as the walls close in swiftly with no room for control

the devils dry whispers sends fear down the spine
and any chance of redemption is frozen in time

Great message with a timely warning John. You say what needs to be said.
