Too Few

I watched her while she was sleeping In the bed where we did stay Her fair form was mine for keeping In the place where we did lay I would trace the gentle curves down Her neck, and to her breasts I listened closely to her heart The rise and falling of her chest Of such memories I do smile Looking back upon this life And still looking all the while To make that woman my Wife The sun will rise, the sun will set And too few chances will we get For what’s below, and all above She so fills my Soul with Love
