Too Close To The Edge

Too close to the edge, I was once To rain and storm, I used to dance I used to play with the sun and moon Hoping my glory would come to soon I chased my fate on deathly plains Hoping that race would bring me gains I travelled mountains, near and far Trying to rope and touch the star Too close to the edge, I almost fell Believing that I owned a spell A dared too much the scorching heat Thinking that great was my heartbeat I fished on sea on stormy night Thinking that time was always right Too close to edge, I dared the deep That to now, hunts me in my sleep
