Tonight, We Fly

By night, we fly
into the vast eternal sky
as the warmth of the stars embrace us.

As we dare to try,
two lovers you and I,
to meet, while shooting stars chase us.

We must then fly on
around the bright golden sun
as its heat pales to that which we emit.

Dreams are then drawn
as beautiful as the new dawn,
so to our flight and passion we two commit.
