Tomorrow's Child
From out of endless space
Someone has seen my face
From a time that’s yet to be
Someone sings to me.
I am Tomorrow’s Child, crying
From an earth that is dying.
What kind of earth will there be for me
When I come to be?
The kind of earth I find
Will be the one you leave behind.
Please leave me an earth that’s growing.
Leave me a warm sun glowing,
Fresh winds blowing,
And clean waters flowing.
I need to know you feel my sorrow.
And if I cry again tomorrow
Will you dry a tear from my eye?
While your seasons come and go
Like tides that ebb and flow
Remember me, Tomorrow’s Child, crying
From an earth that is dying.
What kind of earth will there be for me
When I come to be?
