Tomorrow Is Another Day

Floodgates have broken
Tears fall gaining speed
Brokenness is company
Pain has taken lead

Each man carries his
My pain is my own
I look for sympathy
Chilled to the bone

A touch of her hair
The warmth in her gaze
All would be lifted
Golden summer rays

Oh to break this curse
To rise from the fall
Secrets in a cave
Broken feet to crawl

Faint light to my eyes
Could this be the day
God, I have waited
Bring another day
