Tomorrow Belongs To Me

This is just a bit of fun. It's a parody on the NAZI song in the film cabaret. My version is about the present banking crisis! Here is the original version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs5bnVoZK4Q ------------------------------------------------------------------ The ink on the money is barely warm The bull down in Walls Street runs free But gathered together to greet the storm Tomorrow belongs to me The branch of the bank is shifty and keen To take your tax dollars for free But somewhere the story awaits unseen Tomorrow belongs to me The babe in his cradle is closing his eyes Ignorant of what’s coming you see But soon says the whisper, arise, arise Tomorrow belongs to me Now IMF, IMF, show us the joke Your children have waited to see The morning will come When the world is broke Tomorrow belongs to me Tomorrow belongs to me Tomorrow belongs to me Now IMF, IMF, show us the joke Your children have waited to see The morning will come When the world is broke Tomorrow belongs to me Tomorrow belongs to me Tomorrow belongs to me

Taxpayer will have a heavy burden! I loved reading this poem tonight and thank you for your comments...Have a nice weekend...Gert

Wish someone would get that bull back in his corral, David. You are singing my song of woe here. Thanks for helping me to laugh at it. As they say, "Things are tough all over." I appreciate the humor very much. Love, Carolyn
