Tomorrow
“Tomorrow”
Can’t see the path before me, I’ve done all that I must
Fond memories playing in my mind, I pray for faith to trust
Can joy be in my future or only in my past, I’ve known a love that fueled the sun,
Heaven here on earth can’t last.
My eyes grow dim I stagger, beneath all my broken dreams
To seek a love that knows no end …impossible it seems
Can it be I’ll find her, I watch and I will wait to know the one to hold my heart
Peer into those eyes of fate. Hear me my beloved; it’s been too many years
May hope come soon, in this present world or in the next I fear……
