Tomorrow
When I look upon the threshold,
There's a greater void between the light.
As if more shadow has crept in silently,
To refuse my line of sight.
While this may briefly interrupt my vision,
I won't be blinded by myopic views.
Since I'm driven to see a clear future,
Beyond the chaos some seed to confuse.
So I'll look longer and closer these days ahead,
Paying attention to what others have forgot.
Yet diligent to the surrounding darkness,
Pointing a spotlight where they wish they were not.
