Tomorrow
I cant wait for tomorrow
Tomorrow when my neighbor loves me as himself, when everyone looks at my face and not my color, when hypocrisy no longer slaps my face, when my word is my bond and my handshake is my contract, when slander and back biting no longer hurts me from afar.
Tomorrow when the twinkle in a man's eyes is no longer connected to my wallet.
Tomorrow when mothers no longer take their babies lives, when no one dies of starvation, when fathers and mothers respect their children and no child is abused.
Tomorrow when men appreciate, uphold and respect all women, when spouses love and respect each other, when children honor and obey their parents and countries co-exist peacefully and no one goes to war.
Tomorrow when people can worship in peace and no one goes to sleep with fear and evil no longer stalks man,
Tomorrow when God returns and we live in Heaven on Earth.
I cant wait for tomorrow.
