Tom Cat Is Unowned and Unencumbered

Tom is stealthy and sneaky He feeds first and ferociously It may be his only meal for a day or two He likes this porch; people leave out kibble For their spoiled prissy stuck up feline She is a pretty thing, but not to his taste He is a Tom Cat; he prefers the more feral felines They are much more to his liking They understand the importance of living life loudly For tomorrow is not promised He is a Tom Cat, he is strong, he is street-smart He is unowned, unencumbered, A shadow that lurks around at night Eating from the bowls of the prissy spoiled owned cats

Our neighborhood is full of "prissy spoiled owned cats," but it is the feral Tom Cat who is killing my backyard squirrels. I am so mad at him!

I understand this, and he might be pretty dangerous to humans too. My girlfriend inadvertently adopted a cat from a humane society, and it was feral. It bit and scratched her two year old's head, neck and mouth so badly she had to have surgery!

Enjoyed! Those prissy little cats unknowingly share.

They mew their disapproval from their castles high inside the house as they stare at Mr. Feral through the window.
