Tokyo Blues

Welcome to Japan where an Uber costs two hundred dollars and a can of Spam. Tokyo — all my pockets it exhausts. My plane’s just arrived and I’m in a jam. I turn the spindle and it cuts me — ouch! I miss the lights and the tree and my wife. A limo would have taken half my pouch. I miss her long arms and I miss my life. 12/5/2018

Beautiful, beautiful, so beautiful and as always, your pen writes in the language of kings through a naturally flowing ink.

My son-in-law went to Japan. He says it is beautiful, but way too expensive. My husband went once, but did not leave the hotel for fear of becoming stranded without a million dollars in his pocket.

I guess one of my husband’s coworkers had the same thing happen so he is not alone.
