Together We Shall Rise

So many families torn apart, by a monster they can't see
Fentanyl takes hold and it won't let go, it's like a disease
Leaving loved ones feeling helpless and alone, wondering what to do
They turn their backs in fear and pain, not knowing how to get through
All the raindrops fall from heaven skies 
For all the victims lost in fentanyl's lies 
Family members push them away 
But they need love to make it through the day 


The addict feels so alone, like no one understands 
The high is all that matters now, just need it in their hands 
They don't care if they live or die, it's hard to see the light 
When those they love have turned away, it's like an endless night 


All the raindrops fall from heaven skies 
For all the victims lost in fentanyl's lies 
Family members push them away 
But they need love to make it through the day 


We must come together strong and true
And help every single one of them through
Accept their illness with open hearts
Help them get back up and start

We can't give up on those who are lost
Hold them close no matter what the cost
Together we can make a stand  
To end this monster called fentanyl.

We need to break the stigma and the shame
And give them hope for a better day
No more looking away, no more turning our backs
Let's offer support and help them get back on track

We'll keep their memories alive and bright  
And make sure that they didn't die for no reason or fight 
We'll continue to spread love and kindness 
Until fentanyl addiction is one less thing to worry less.
Let's raise our voices, let our message be heard
Together we can make a difference, spread love and not hurt
For every tear that falls from heaven sky  
There will be hope and healing for those who still struggle to survive.
