Together One Day
Look closely for in a moment I’ll be gone.
A warm summer’s day,
A cheek kissed by the sun.
The warmth of a fire,
Holding each other as we watch the coming of the new dawn.
Hopes and dreams I shared with you,
Gone now and forever for they will never come true.
I sit and remember happier times,
I think back on the feeling of your hand clasped in mine.
Lost in this world I now must stay,
Until we are together again one day.
