Together

God has always been my heavenly Father. He's always been there for me. Whether i turned my back on Him, Or came to him on bended knee. Like a true Father, He's guided me through life. I've seen him work miracles for me. I've felt His hand on my shoulder, And felt Him nudge me onward at times. Like a true Father, He loves me unconditionally. And this i know He always will. Even though i trip, and falter, and sin; I know He is with me still. He knows i am weak and sinful, And that this will always be. But through it all i love Him, And i know that He loves me. God knows we need, above all else, To know and feel true love. That's why we are together dear, And i thank Him up above. He knows we need each other, That's part of why we're here; To go through life now side by side, And to be His children dear.
