Toe In

A toe in will be just fine,
More than that will cost you a dime.
A line or two is all I'll give,
     More than that,
You may know where I live.

Expressing what I see, feel, and think,
     Could really cause a stink!
So rather than jumping all the way in,
I could just go up to my shin.

     To expose anymore,
might drive you out the door.
And failure to follow up on my dreams,
Could be the cause of a scream!

I think just a toe in will be fine,
     More than that,
     Will cost you a dime.
