Today's Times
In this day and time,
look deep in your heart
and try to be kind
Death, destruction and chaos
are all around and not hard
to find
We close are eyes and plug
our ears
Good things and laughter we
so long to hear
Folks are killing each other
in senseless ways
This world and people are
out of control each and
every day
Media shows now live as
things come into play
It's in the comments and emojis
of what we want to say
Our world is failing fast and
so much more than before
Do we give up and live as
hermits behind closed doors?
I am a Servant of GOD
my SALVATION he paid
I know in my heart
that I am truly saved
Whatever takes place in
this crazy world each day
I have my path written and
know my way
Mansion in the sky and
streets of gold to roam
I will finally be where I
can call my eternal home
