Today, lies oft repeated are accepted as fact,
In quoting another we’re no longer exact.
Social media can no longer be held blameless,
they perpetuate lies while standing shameless.
A lie told often and the truth we don’t know,
unless like Pinnochio, noses started to grow.
So we pass on as truth each thing we read,
my word’s good, you can trust me, some plead.
Things are written that go unsaid to ones face,
we destroy reputations when we lie and debase.
