Today's Sorrow

when life seems steady
and from day to day
you see you,re ready
to make your own way
but the ones you trust
Do not believe in you
your dreams now dust
What do you do?
Do you look up above?
And pray to your father
Or would you rather
Turn your back on all
Because men want your fall
And just when life looks up
They serve you another cup
Of pain and sorrow
But let’s pray that tomorrow
Will be brighter and better
For through our prayer
all today's sorrow will not matter.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
