Today's Choices
Today I choose serenity
and find a deep abiding calm
Today I choose forgiveness
and walk away from pain
Today I choose acceptance
and let go of guilt and shame
Today I choose perseverance
and patiently follow the heart
Today I choose simplicity
and find pleasure in mundane treasure
Today I choose happiness
and embrace sweet intangible joy
