Today is Your Birthday

Today is your birthday 
So please celebrate
Hope your moving is finished
of your home goods and freight

Hope you're making some time
and you're happy to see
these great birthday greetings 
from your mother and me

We're really quite proud 
of the woman we raised
Sing your praises loud
Though we're a little bit crazed

Can't figure out
How you're older than us
but we're glad that you made it
And won't make a fuss

We won't ask you questions
won't ask your advice
Have a wonderful birthday
We hope it's real nice

Love from mom and dad
on this day of your birth
It's a much better place
with you here on this earth.
