Today Is the Day
At work I walked upon a cloud
Filled with joy in earthen shroud
I kept my focus on the Lord all day
He energized my walk, my stay
The Spirit of the Lord I found
Though I have my feet upon the ground
I feel like I could fly, not walk
When I need some peace I talk
To Him who guides me on so true
And He also wants to comfort you
The presence of the Lord is what I love
The power of His Spirit from above
It fills my day with glory, helps me along
And in my soul I’m singing heaven’s song
People asked me why I always have a good day
It’s all because of Him, the Truth, the Life, the Way
What we choose determines how we feel
Choose life and your blessings will be real
