Today Is a Grateful Day
The rain can’t hide the shining Sun,
Light is here to stay.
Jump in puddles, have some fun,
Today is a grateful day.
Put down the phone for one more hour,
Your world won’t go away.
Ignore those calls, pick a flower,
Today is a grateful day.
If we don’t give ourselves some breaks,
Time will slip away.
The joy will be gone, the joy which makes,
Today a grateful day.
