Today I Didnt See You

Today I didn’t see you
I forgot about
How you hurt me
I thought of you
But instead of missing you
I worried for her
I knew how she must have felt
Sitting alone waiting
On you to show
Knowing that she was
Crying not visibility
But where no one could see
How her tears fell
Worrying if you’re okay
Trying to reach you
Wishing to see you
If even for a second
To comfort her
Would be to turn my back on me
But to sacrifice my me
To make her make you happy
Would be barley enough to hurt me
But I forgot how you hurt me
Only of how you’ll hurt her
Cause today I didn’t see you
