Today

Jealousy comsumes the human race
If you're not rich you have no face

The poor shall never overcome
Seems to be the opinion of some

Hard workers work hard for little pay
Yet not quite as hard as "back in the day"

Technology spoils our sluggish ways
Without electricity, we're stuck in a daze

There are I-pods, cell phones, not to mention TV
Without all of that, where would we be?

Struggles of the past are long forgotten
It seems that today we are spoiled rotten
