Today
So sorry to make you feeling upset
Though you said it wasn’t my fault
But the consequence from that
Is the silence that I have got
And the full moon was performing
The pantomime through the clouds
And invisible stars were falling
Down on the black and white ground
I won every card game today
Including the crescent solitaire
I didn’t know what kept you away
I was staring at the monitor
It was 9th of Jabuary, Thursday
Time was at its fastest run
It was Jimmy Page’s birthday
Now he turned eighty one
Where were you, who can tell
What you were doing today
If you have heard my bell
It was all I could think to say.
