Today

I've never been this old before,
The years have gone which brought me here.
It ought to be against the law,
I've never been this old before.
What happens now, I can't be sure,
It must be all downhill, I fear.
I've never been this old before,
The years have gone which brought me here.

One day at a time, Elisabeth. Very well written! Unfortunately, it is probably not all downhill. Hoping you are well:)

Oh how fleeting the years, as seen from wisdoms perch, natures law prevails! Do the best you can Elisabeth.
