Today
Today is a brand new day
It’s a privilege to be alive today.
I don’t take today for granted, but
Give thanks and praise in a very
Special way.
Today is a brand new day
The date, the month, the year.
I’ll do my best to enjoy today,
Be kind and spread good cheer
I pause to think of yesterday
The future what it holds?
But then the thought that came
To mind, I see today, yesterday
Is gone, and the future will unfold
In time.
