To You I Turn

as my soul sheds tears liquid sparkling crystals yet, still so sharp no one ever hears to you I turn seeking blissful comfort filling for the holes craving the sound of an angel's harp to slaughter the dreadful hurt to you I turn as my heart screams a silent yet piercing wail heard by none I'm devoured by shattered dreams to you I turn craving love's sweetest touch needing to tell my tale believing the pain will be done as in fairy tales and such to you I turn I turn to you obeying a basic command of my tortured heart to myself being true hoping for the touch of your tender hand putting together what's been torn apart only to be pushed away and watch my love go astray yet, still, I turn to you.
