To You

When I said it was over
You said hurtful things
You called me out my name
You said you had no feelings for me anyway
And yet you were right there texting me all day, everyday
You probably just said those things to cover up the pain
I tried to let you go easily…but before you left my life you just
Had to make a scene.
You tried your best to make me break down and cry
But while you were going off I was on the other end laughing
the whole time.
You’re probably at home talking negatively a whole lot about me
While I am out having fun at the movies.
If you meant what you said about you never caring.
Then I guess we’re even.
Even though you made me mad,
I hope you have a nice life, there’s no need to reminisce.
Because the past is the past…
And I ‘am moving on chucking up the deuces.
I just hope you keep my name out your mouth, no excuses…
