To Write or Not to Write

shallow old river,
a tadpole wanders afar~
hungry fish swim by

peaceful and quiet
waters flowing from mountains
dark ducks are swimming

little ugly grub
sheltering wild winter's cold:
lovely chrysalis

just a scribble

love your little nature scribble Victor. I have taken a long break from soup, still not the safe haven it once was but sadly that will never change. I hope to be more active on the site now I have penned a few poems recently. hugs Jan x

Scribble for me any time. Each painted an imagery and feel that I thoroughly enjoyed. I pray you are well. CayCay

To be just a scribble or not a scribble. That is the question!

To write or not to write ~ YES ! that is the ultimate question: the answer is ....ALWAYS to write, even a scribble takes us one step closer to knowing who we are. Lovely imagery in these haiku’s, Victor. Beautiful last 3 lines with ugly grub and lovely chrysalis juxtaposed. Sending light into Malta. X.

Hello Victor, I liked how the tadpole and the grub both feel small and unsure, just trying to get through, while everything bigger moves around them. I like the ending with “just a scribble,” which made it feel honest, like you’re not overthinking any of it. Winter Blessings, Victor Daniel
