To Write a Story
Once Upon a Time, comes way before The End.
To write a story, there is a place to begin.
The introduction gives details; that says a lot.
Explains the characters, location and begins the plot.
After the intro, the body is what comes next.
This can be a page, or a volume of text.
The plot comes together; may the story seem true.
To capture the reader, they must see the view.
With the words of reason, having created the illusion,
We all know what's next, it has to be the conclusion.
In the conclusion, may the reader have surprise.
But it's usually the villain, not the hero that dies.
After the conclusion, the story has to end.
And that's when the thoughts and meanings, begin.
