To understand the battle between good and evil

For a ringside seat to watch good and evil battle it out, You need to go no further than your own back yard, And you will see the flowers battle it out with weeds, You will see the flowers slowly being smothered to death by evil weeds, Such as convolvulus, Unless you intervene and make it a more even contest. Of this never ending battle you should not doubt, And the chances of good winning in our lifetime I deem impossible, But the good news is that we can reduce the harm evil can do, Which when I see a well tended garden in full bloom, Is reason enough for me to keep fighting the good fight.
