To Try

I want to do something great
	To hit that one homerun
That sails into the October sun
Become the owner of my fate

I want to create my own world
Lost between each college ruled line
Found on a page I have yet to define
Filled with so much yet to be explored

I want to learn her name
	And never loose the audacity
To search for love with unseen capacity
And our dreams to be the same

I want to never say goodbye
	Feel a warm spring breeze
	While looking at autumn trees
But mostly, To never say I didn’t try
